If you buy a wholebeef from us your beef is free of fear.  Yes, the sad thing about beef is the death of the steer is required.  And we genuinely enjoy the creatures and come to know them individually so we take great care to see that their final hours are good.

Factory slaughter beef requires the transfer of the cattle to loud and dirty germ infested kill factories where 1000s of animals are mechanically murdered.  The panic and rush of adrenaline damages the meat and makes it unhealthy.  Mammals are inteligent creatures and know the smell of fear given off by these murder factories.

Our cattle are killed in an open grass field.  They are free of panic, free of fear when they are killed.  The butcher calmly aproaches them and patiently waits for a clean kill shot (.22 caliber shot).  Death comes sudden and instaneous.  Our steers never are inflicted with panic. 

And we know this makes for more tender and healthy beef. You can taste the difference.
