Our Ranching Principles

We never give our cattle hormones, antibiotics, steroids or ionophores.
It's that simple.

Our cattle are given free range. They decide how much time they want to spend in the pastures or in the barnyard.

Our cattle live a natural existence within a social order of a cattle herd. The cows have been together for 3 generations. They have a social hierarchy - Leaders and pranksters, and rebels. During calving they share baby sitting duties. When cows die they even seem to mourn the loss of herd members.

Our cattle have a natural, 100% vegetarian diet. They are never fed any animal by-products, manure, bloodmeal, factory waste, or paper pulp. This not true with supermarket beef.

We believe in sustainability and work towards a more sustainable ranch.
Examples::
We reseeds our pastures and controls the weeds manually, not through herbicides.
We rotate our herd on various pastures to insure healthy pasture for the following years.
We raise beef on farmland NOT in wild life habitat areas.
We use natural fertilizers and do not support the big petro-chemical industry.
We believe in the importance of the small family farm.
We believe in good animal husbandtry and treat our animals respectfully.
We put pride and love into the farm and believe in our way of life.
We guarantee that our beef is the best quality possible.
